BioLite is looking for a highly motivated self-starter excited about taking the next step in their career at a fast paced, social-mission startup. Located in our Brooklyn, NY office and reporting to the Director of Sales, the Global Marketplace Manager will be accountable for everything related to BioLite’s global Amazon business and build out of other marketplaces. The ideal candidate has experience working in the Amazon environment. However, an analytical mind, tenacious attitude and exceptionally positive personality are the most important characteristics for this specific role.

Key ActivitiesBuild and Maintain Global Amazon Marketplace Storefronts and Product Pages – Work closely with our Marketing, Design and Wholesale Sales teams to setup product pages, design compelling brand content, and list accurate technical specifications. Ensure MAP pricing is consistent and enforced.Design and Track ROI of Advertising – Work directly with Ecommerce manager to develop and track seasonal campaigns globally including PPC (Sponsored ads) and Headline Search ads.Research and Outmaneuver Competitors – Consistently run SWOT analysis and move quickly with well thought out action.Forecasting and Inventory Management – Work with our Operations and Warehouse teams to ensure proper inventory levels in all Amazon Fulfillment Centers globally.Customer Reviews – Amazon is the leading source of product reviews for end customers making purchases in all retail environments. Working closely with our Customer Service Department will be essential to ensure customer questions and issues are quickly resolved. Also, working with the Product Development and Marketing teams to launch products with early adopters so BioLite has honest, quality reviews live as products hit retailer’s shelves globally.Build External Marketplace Network – Research, design and implement a global marketplace strategy beyond Amazon.
Desired Skills2+ years’ experience in managing a brand in the Amazon Seller Central or Vendor Central platforms, Including international marketplaces.Otherworldly tenacity. Maintaining the BioLite brand presence on Amazon and other seller marketplaces globally requires incredible patience and focus. Multiple ongoing customer service cases across 10+ international markets is standard practice with Amazon.Demonstrated ability to manage and execute multiple projects concurrently.Demonstrated ability to take initiative and learn quickly.Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.Self-managing and motivated; experience in a start-up environment a plus.Experience with industry tools such as Jungle Scout, Unicorn Smasher etc.Skilled in presenting large data sets in easy to understand, trackable KPI’s.
