DESCRIPTION Flocabulary is a rapidly growing edtech company that uses music to drive student achievement and foster a love of learning. Students in more than 20,000 schools use our rap songs, videos, and interactive learning tools to master academic content, increase engagement and build vocabulary. You will be focused on gathering and using industry and customer insights to inform product branding and positioning decisions, develop marketing and sales plans that align our products to important customer segments and buyer personas, and create collateral for our sales and customer success teams. WHO YOU ARE This is an ideal role for a marketing professional with experience in the K-12 education sector who has worked closely with both product and sales teams. You’re outgoing and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. You have previous experience tying your findings into concrete recommendations for opportunities that will lead to Flocabulary’s growth and success, as well as proven experience managing the go-to-market for products and professional services. RESPONSIBILITES * Collect industry and customer data, and create feedback loops internally to share essential insights to stakeholders * Partner with product managers to ensure that we’re meeting customer requirements and planning training for the Sales and Customer Success teams * Take product attributes and develop them into compelling value propositions, marketing messages, and sales support collateral for different personas across the K12 landscape * Provide training and support to Sales and Customer Success teams on product enhancements, new launches, and new marketing campaigns * Build the sales enablement content repository and ensure that all information is consistently used and readily accessible REQUIREMENTS * 3-5 years of relevant experience, with emphasis on developing and/or promoting education solutions * Experience writing for diverse audiences * Critical thinker and problem solver who is motivated to seek data to inform their work * Positive team player able to earn cross-functional team confidence through influencing skills * Passion for the K12 learner at the center of all work BENEFITS * Competitive salary * 99% paid medical, vision, and dental insurance for full time employees and employer contribution toward dependent care * Company stock options * Flexible time off and parental leave policies * Retirement savings plan (401k) with partial company match * Health & wellness stipend * Office in Dumbo means easy access to our roof deck, parks and waterfront with postcard views
