As a steward of the social brand reputation for clients and the agency, this entrepreneurial team member has the opportunity to help build a social and emerging media practice in a fast-growing office. This person is a digital native steeped in earned and paid social media experience who is a leader and a doer in proactive communications, publicity, social media, events, paid amplification and content creation. This team member has a passion for what’s next in digital and social engagement, and understands the nuances of engaging with audiences online.


  • Leads social strategy for clients, focusing on audience behavior while incorporating best practices and emerging media trends

  • Functions as owner of brand social channels for clients; works with creative, strategy and account teams to determine goals, objectives and plans for brands and leads junior team members through execution

  • Works closely with senior members of the agency to develop, execute, optimize and report on external and internal communications campaigns that tell stories of our work, our culture and our thought leadership.

  • Is an executional strategist in social and emerging media, knowing how to craft and reshape content and ideas that will drive maximum engagement across existing and new media channels, with paid media targeting and amplification

  • Is excited to monitor and manage communities for brands, and be responsible for solving problems before/after regular business hours when needed

  • Stays on top of new industry trends and best practices through ongoing independent research

  • Delivers consistent high level work and meets all internal deadlines

  • Able to clearly articulate work both internally (verbal and written) and externally

  • Manages, optimizes and reports on client campaigns internally, identifying needed adjustments and optimizations to senior media team members

  • Able to contribute to media planning projects and client presentations

  • Able to effectively communicate media plans and results to the client

  • Delivers consistent high level of work and meets all client deadlines


  • Undergraduate degree, with hands-on and strategic experience in digital/ PR/social media + at least 7-10 years in the industry or relevant experience

  • In depth knowledge and curiosity of digital media

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Has experience overseeing, optimizing and executing social budgets across multiple platforms

  • Understands and has desire to operate at a high level
